Following our first award-winning Finca Copey Costa Rican coffee, we are excited to introduce this washed Geisha coffee, with flavours of tart cherry, honeydew melon, and juicy red apple.
Grown and named in homage to Finca Copey, this coffee comes from the Café Solis & Cordero team. They recently won first place at this year's Cup of Excellence in the Experimental category.
Founded in 2018 by Ivan Solis and Alejandra Cordero, the Café Solis & Cordero couple embodies a new generation of coffee producers, combining ancestral tradition with avant-garde practices. Finca Copey stands out for the exceptional quality of its coffees. Located at an altitude of 2,000 meters, on the high plateaus of Copey de Dota, this farm benefits from a particular microclimate, ideal for growing traditional varieties such as Geisha and Catuai.
This Geisha coffee underwent a simple washed process. The cherries were cleaned with clear water, 75% depulped, and dried on raised beds for 10 days.
